Paytm invests in Mumbai-based lending startup CreditMate

PayTM India’s most popular mobile wallet company is spreading its wings in different sectors. After opening the Bank, Mutual Fund company Paytm has invested in Mumbai-based lending startup CreditMate.

CreditMate was founded by Jonathan Bill, Aditya Singh and Ashish Doshi in 2016. CreditMate building the network of lenders to provide loan against two-wheelers. They have a dealer network of over 150 across Mumbai and Gujarat.

PayTM funding will help CreditMate to expand its operations, distribution, lending partnerships and technology. PayTM will also leverage CreditMate’s proprietary credit and asset valuation technology and loan management system.
